The Person Behind Mandirmedia

I enjoy building simple tools that help people learn and create without distractions. I studied some STEM, business and education, and I have a bachelor’s degree in Vaishnava Theology.

How It All Started

I founded Mandirmedia in 2020, when I published the first version of Devanagari Quiz. It started as an Android app and has since grown into a web app, and initially included advertising banners. However, I soon realized that ads can be distracting, and paywalls can feel frustrating for users.

Because of this, I decided to make the app completely free and focus on offering a book instead. The feedback I received confirmed that this was the right direction—especially now, as AI has made creating software easier and more accessible than ever.

Mandirmedia is primarily a one-woman project, but it hasn’t been built entirely alone.

The logo and the initial visual identity was created in collaboration with Visiosto Oy.
I’ve also received valuable guidance through Tech Nordic Advocates and Business Helsinki.

I’m grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received along the way.
